Give Pat Robertson a piece of your mind about his remarks about Haiti. Call his 700 Club's prayer line at 1-800-759-0700. Let's keep the phone lines jammed with complaints. Pat Robertson's explanation for the unbelievable tragedy that has befallen the citizen's of Haiti is sick and twisted (read below) - "Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it," he said on Christian Broadcasting Network's "The 700 Club." "They were under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon III, or whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, we will serve you if you'll get us free from the French. True story. And so, the devil said, okay it's a deal." Jimmy Carter once said - Evangelical Christianity has been hijacked by people who would give Jesus himself the boot if he knocked on the door. Stop giving this man air time - he is a nightmare and an embarrassment to true Christianity.

This is when I question GOD altogether...WHY? Why so much pain and devastation on one people? Why are we spared and they are not? That cannot be in God's plan.

I am MORTIFIED! I don't understand how anyone can say anything to add more pain and suffering on the people of Haiti. They deserve our prayers...and our help!

New bible verse makes me look at some of the issues our country is facing from a different perspective..."what goes around, comes around." You never know when hard times will fall upon us, so we need to lend an ear or a helping hand whenever we can. What do you think?

So, an old friend just told me a ridiculous story. There is a Catholic Bible Study group that does not allow Divorced women to participate. When someone needs it the most, our faith needs to guide us and get us through those dark times. Right, mama's??? What do you guys think?

I think I'm the only one in here! Come on gals, let's remind ourselves about our authentic Christian beliefs. I love this room because we get so caught up in the day-to-day that sometimes we forget...

That is definitely the hardest part. Thankfully, we are on a life journey to know Christ. Until we can forgive, until we replace fear with acceptance and hate with love we will not truly know Christ. His messages guide us, but we need to stay on the path. Sometimes it's easier said than done. But, that is part of the journey...

@Reefsmom: That is definitely the hardest part. But, that struggle is part of our life journey to truly accept Christ into our heart. We can go through the motions sometimes...we talk the talk...but, when we actually learn forgiveness, we get closer to being the person He wants us to be. Every time we listen, we start to understand. Every time we forgive, we replace hate with love inside our hearts. I still have a long way to go, but I'm working on it!

Great verse! We should be kind. We should be tenderhearted. We should forgive. We should extend grace to others because we don't know what kind of day they have had or what kind of things they have suffered through in their life. Kindness can go such a long way! I can be kind, I can be tenderhearted, I still struggle with forgiveness.
