If you are an opinionated mom, our kids and our country need YOU!  No pressure, but America's moms are literally shaping the future of our country...one child at a time.  So, wouldn’t it be easier if we helped each other connect the dots between the news & events of our time and the lessons we are teaching our kids at home?   Someone’s got to do it and it’s not our politicians, pundits, sports heroes or celebrities.  America’s moms get our vote!

JOIN THE MILLION MAMA CYBER MARCH
O-MAMA is looking for a Million Mamas to say they believe in bringing Common Sense back to our country’s most important conversations. How are we going to accomplish this? By mobilizing the Million Mama Cyber March. This is going to be MOMentous—and a lot of fun! We need as many moms as possible from across the country to spread the word to make it work. So please join the Million Mama Cyber March today. It’s easy, all you have to do is tell all your friends to become an O-MAMA FAN on Facebook
OUR 50 STATE STRATEGY
The 50 State Strategy is a way for America’s moms to connect with their own circle of gal pals in their communities. Our goal is to motivate moms in every state to engage in constructive dialogue and actionable community service projects. You can participate in the 50 State Strategy by volunteering to host an O-MAMA House Party and/or get involved in an O-MAMA Community Service Project.
House Parties
We are breaking party etiquette and talking politics and tackling social taboos – race, religion, gay marriage, you name…it’s on the kitchen table. Moms know how to find common ground and move agenda’s forward, so we need to use these skills to get to the heart of the issues that matter most to the future of our kids…and the future of our country. It’s big, it’s scary, that’s why we are going to do it with our friends and neighbors, so we can giggle together and have a big hug circle afterward. If you are interested in hosting an O-MAMA House Party, contact us (see link below) and we’ll send you a party packet with invitations, party tips, hot button conversation starters and some swag! If you have joined the Million Mama Cyber March and are following us on Twitter, you can Tweet LIVE with Michelle and Debbie during your party! After you’ve hosted your party we encourage you to send pictures or video of your own Kitchen Table Talk segment(s) to O-MAMA headquarters and we’ll share your opinions on the O-MAMA Website, Facebook Fan Page and/or YouTube Page.
Community Service
O-MAMA Community Service Projects are a way to bring together America’s moms and their kids to participate in service projects that benefit our communities in meaningful ways. Projects can range from planting trees to supporting our troops. If you are interested in representing your state by leading an O-MAMA Community Service Project, please sign up here and O-MAMA will contact you to help organize a community service project in your area to coordinate with a broader national effort.
SIGN THE CONTRACT WITH AMERICA'S KIDS

"Common sense is the accumulation of prejudices up to the age of eighteen." Albert Einstein. He also said that nowhere is this more obvious than in science. For example people all thought it was common sense that the earth was flat, and that the earth was the center of the universe.

Touché! Great quote. As far as complex scientific fact, simplistic common sense should not be the prevailing wisdom. However, common sense can absolutely be used in the reverse...to help break down and understand more complicated issues. Hope you'll continue to share your opinions...we need smart, opinionated MAMAS like YOU.

Mamas know better than anyone else how to help people get along. Though we are a diverse nation, there IS a respectful way to conduct ourselves and help our kids be the best they can be. I am raising my children to be respectful, accepting and open to people from all walks of life. I believe excellent education is the essential key to every child's future and OUR future depends on insuring that for all children. Our children are tomorrows leaders. We have to get serious about the experience we are providing them to be courageous, to have integrity, to be willing to work hard for their goals.

Absolutely agree! I'm glad MAMAS can see the sense in working together to understand the issues and parent our children accordingly. We don't always have to agree, but we need to listen! Good job MAMAs.

In order to raise our children as good "Americans" we need to get civics back in the classroom. My kids learned their American history and civics at home, not in school. The limited education we are giving our students is scary. Look at the rewriting of history in some of the southern states and Texas. How many of our kids really know how our government is supposed to work, or who is on the Supreme Court? It's up to Mama to make sure our kids get a real education in Common sense.

This is a brilliant website and a wonderful place to help bring our country back to a sensible place. I'm so sick of the partisan bickering, rhetoric and lack of action because of it. We mamas, old and young alike, can be the catalyst for a different, better way of life, and ultimately a more respectful way of governing ourselves. Mamas...let's end the bickering and start the conversation again!
