FEATHERING OUR NESTS: O-MAMA’s Perspective on SPRING CLEANING

Spring is in the air.  The birds and the bees are flitting around doing their thing…nature abounds.  The birds are feathering their nests and laying their eggs, while the bees are busy pollinating every flower in the garden.  The air is crisp and clean.  Chirping and buzzing fills the air.

Everything seems fresh and new.  So, let’s take a new look at Spring, shall we? The first thing that comes to mind is cleaning. Ugggh.  But, let's talk about the birds and the bees instead...the part of the story that happens...

STRANGE THEME: Hezbollah Builds Theme Park

The military and political group, Hezbollah, has built an amusement park. The 4 million dollar complex displays war relics and propaganda from their continuing fight with Israel.  The Landmark for the Resistance theme park has opened in Beruit. There have been 5,000 visitors to the park since May.  

MOMism: "Learning through play."  Yep, our kids learn by doing and seeing...being able to get "hands on" experiences reinforces any verbal cues they get.

So, the terrorists have figured this out, too.  OY!  They are indoctrinating kids and promoting terrorism through "play."  This is a scary proposition for the world.  Until there is an alternative education message for these kids, they will only learn hate and violence.  What about a theme like "The Happiest Place on Earth?"
