Joran van der Sloot was involved in a scheme to sell information on the location of Natallee Holloway’s remains for $250,000.  He has been indicted by a U.S. Federal Grand Jury on charges of wire fraud and extortion.    Meanwhile, van der Sloot is being held in a Peruvian jail on murder charges for the death of Stephany Flores.

MOMism: ”You can run, but you can't hide.”  Our kids need to know that they can't run away from the bad things they do.  They need to confess their misdeeds and suffer the consequences; otherwise, they will think they can get away with murder.  Literally.

Joran van der Sloot has been on the lamb for years and will now pay for his crime.  Not as satisfying as an indictment for the alleged murder of the Natallee Holloway…sort of like getting Al Capone on tax evasion…but at least he is behind bars and cannot harm anyone else's daughter.
