SALT LAKE SAMARITANS: Neighbors Shoot Each Other

Two neighbors went patrolling the streets looking for mailbox thieves and ended up shooting eachother.  David Sherbeck and Reginald Campos, both fathers, were respected members of their Salt Lake City community and decided to take neighborhood watch to a new level.   Both concerned with the rash of burglaries and mailbox thefts in their community, they each took to the streets, armed.  One now faces an attempted murder trial and the other is paralyzed from the chest down.   The incident has left the community divided and their families devastated.

Happy Monday O-MAMAs! This story is powerful because it shows how you have to be reponsible and level headded when you have a weapon! Serious stuff. What do you moms think about this? Do you have a hand gun? Would anyone you know go out on the street to exact justice or is it just to protect your home?
