Jimena Navarette won this years’ Miss Universe competition, beating out 83 other women.   During the pageant, Navarette was asked about children and unsupervised internet use and said, ”I do believe that Internet is an indispensable, necessary tool for the present time…we must be sure to teach them the values that we learned as a family.”

MOMism: “We've got the whole world in our hands.”   Our kids need to know that they are the ones that will change the world.  Technology, innovation, research and development...it is all up to them.  We want them to have the tools they need for the 21st century...and the curiosity and ingenuity to use them.  However, although the internet is an important part of connecting us to the world, MAMAS need to monitor its use by our kids...they do not need to be exposed to everything in the universe!
