“Redefining Romance”: Opinionated MAMA’s Perspective on VALENTINE’S DAY

Love is in the air.  Hearts and roses.  Hugs and kisses.  Love.  Love.  Sweet love. We dream about it, write poems about it, watch movies about it, listen to sappy songs about it.  It makes us laugh, it makes us cry, it makes us do crazy things. Love, sweet love.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage.  Then, what?  Hearts and flowers go out the window.  We’re up to our eyeballs in diapers and laundry.  We wear nursing bras and granny panties.  We don’t feel sexy - we’re tired,...

POLITICAL PANTS ON FIRE: Blumenthal (CT-D) and Souder (IN-R) Lie

Connecticut Democratic Attorney General, Richard Blumenthal, defended himself against accusations that he lied about having served in Vietnam. He said in a press conference that he "unintentionally misspoke." Blumenthal, who is campaigning for Chris Dodd’s Democratic Senate seat, said at an event in 2008 that he had “served in Vietnam.”  In fact, he was in the Marine Corps Reserves for over six years, but did not go to Vietnam.   In another foible, Indiana Republican, Mark Souder, is resigning from Congress over an affair with a staffer.

MOMism: “Tell the truth.”  Eventually, everyone knows everything, right?  These men found out the hard way.  We can use examples like these to tell our kids just that…you should tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, because the truth ends up coming out anyway.  If you tell half truths or untruths, it's the same thing as telling a lie.  Set the record straight and take your lumps.  Sometimes the truth hurts, but it's kind of like taking off a bandaid...you can't do it slowly, just rip it off.  It'll hurt for a minute, but then they wound will heal.

The birther video is awesome...maybe Donald Trump should take a look, not that he would REALLY care because possibly he's taking the issue to the enth just for the "wow" factor

I very much look forward to when the truth about obama is finally common knowledge. There have been so many attempts to bring it to light, and blocked by his cronies every time. Seems the one thing he is very accomplished at is setting up a shield for he and his criminal buddies to hide behind, even more impenetrable than the old "blue wall". http://bigpeace.com/pspoole/2010/10/14/al-qaeda-still-on-capitol-hill/ He even still has Al Qaeda on Capitol Hill. As recently as April 2010, Anwar Haijaj had been leading muslim prayers for the muslims in congressand on the hill, who is supposedly currently subject to a kill-or-capture order signed by the fraud obama! If the fraud "can't", or more appropriately phrased, won't deal with this known enemy, sitting there under obama's direct protection, how would you explain it??? The perversions of his 52 year old, muslim half brother in Kenya (I most absolutely believe obama was born in Kenya and is muslim) http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101015/ap_on_re_af/af_kenya_obama_s_brother_1 marrying a teenager, only give further indications of the kind of "people" obama comes from, trash! So many lies by this fraud, and can't wait to see the expression on his face when being called to take his proper sentence for them all.

Every government employee should be held to the highest standards. Hypocrisy should be a crime! Blumenthal plain outright "lied". Souder was stumphing the young woman who was interviewing him on the subject of abstinence? What the heck is that? I'm sick of the tears from these grown men and the convoluted excuses for their disgusting behaviour - these are the people that should be forced to step down. The American People have got to stand up and say, no more "lies". If a candidate for office is proven to tell lies in campaign ads or flyers or whathave you...don't vote for them. Let it be known that we need people of great integrity if there are any left!

What a shame that so many honorable young men lost their lives in Vietnam, and so many came home damaged only for a man of the law to "unintentionally mispeak" about something like where he spent his military service!!! He disrespects their service with his callous lie!
