OopsyBAMA: Obama Says "Ass"

When interviewed about the disaster caused by the BP oil spill in the Gulf, and who’s to blame, President Obama shocked some with his answer.  NBC's Matt Lauer asked Obama about the criticism that he should spend more time in the Gulf instead of with experts.  In response, he bluntly defended his administration’s response by explaining, “We talk to these folks because they potentially have the best answers, so I know whose ass to kick.” Ouch!

MOMism: “Little people have big ears.” We tell our kids not to swear.  There are so many little people listening; especially to important adult conversation!  So watch what you say MAMAS.

I dare say a few kids heard the president's OOPS. However, I fear the young'uns notice the sports figures speech and actions much more. Everyone should watch their potty mouths.

RFLMFAO, I get the part about obama being a lazy bully, but as far as ONLY taking issue of his use of the word "ass", when he is one, I think this is just plain silly, and far too many other things to charge obama with, like point blank criminal conduct, to really waste much time on his potty mouth LOL

Living here in Louisiana by this disaster I think it is just horrible what is going on. Should the president have sworn on camera... Probably not... However, he gets frustrated just like anyone else.. a slip of the tongue means he is human.

I agree with SaMoMama - I know we try very hard to keep our language clean around our son, but there are some times when you just need to kick some ass. This is one of them! And, considering how unpredictable television is nowadays, we don't usually watch commercial T.V. around our son. We typically mute commercials if we do watch - but that doesn't guarantee that there won't be anything objectionable in the content of whatever show we may choose to watch. **sigh**

I know I should care that Obama swore on camera, but I don't. I'm glad he's surrounding himself with smart people and that he's going to kick someone's ass for this--they deserve it.
