    The big thing in our home is Sunday dinner. It's been a tradition in our family for generations. We have one of three things: lasagna, ravioli or pasta with homemade gravy. It's nice to have the family together to share a meal and talk about their week. The only change is that my son is in Afghanistan, so we have a empty spot at the dinner table.

      There is nothing better than family time around the kitchen table. The most "delicious" moments happen when kids are sharing the highs/lows of the day, giggling and being together. I do cherish those times. I'm sure your table is quieter without your son home, but please know that we are so grateful for his incredible sacrifice - and yours. Hope he comes home safe & sound SOON!!!
