DEAR JONG: North Korean Dictator Dead

Kim Jong Il, the freaky little man that terrorized his own people in a cult like manner, died over the weekend.  So, now what?  What happens with the nukes and who is really in charge over there?  The country has been ruled under a cloud of secrecy, no one really knows how old the dictator was or how old his predecesor is.  Apparently, Kim Jong Il's third son, Kim Jong Un, is the new "Dear Leader" - but, his two older brothers might have an issue with that, not to mention the military?!  The leadership vaccum may bring about a new relationship with the rest of the world or it might lead an untested newbie trying to prove his worth on the world stage?  Stay tuned as our troops move toward Asia.

MOMism:  "You can't blame a child for their parent's wrong doing."  Yikes. The daddy in question has done really horrible things, but we shouldn't just assume that his son will follow in his father's creepy footsteps. If there was ever a window of opportunity to engage North Korea, it seems like it would be now.  That's not to say, we should assume junior will be any different either. What's your opinion MAMAs - you are the experts on parenting insecure kids, so what should the world do to bring North Korea into the fold?  Or, should they stay out in the cold?
