DADT:Times They Are A Changing

The previously silent General Petraeus testified before the Armed Services Committee that he is in support of changing the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" (DADT) policy on gays in the military. He remarked that the assessment process should include elements like recruitment and moral cohesion and that new policies need to be recommended. Petraeus said that he served with gay CIA officers whose orientation did not affect their job performance. So, moms, let your kids know that sometimes it's time for a change. When something is not working, be open to the possibility that there might be another way of doing things. Even the U.S. military can realize that the old way might not be the best way anymore. If these guys are open to change, then we all should be too.
