Camp Nissokone.  The smell of pine and Breck shampoo. Bunking with Jen and Wendy.  Late night giggles, panty raids and waking up to morning bugle calls to do the Pledge of Allegiance.  Chippewa and Ottawa cabins.  The beaver chant (seriously!).  Polar bear swims, archery and hiking through the woods looking at animal poop.  Good times…

BUBBLING OVER: Kilauea Active

The Hawaiian volcano, Kilauea, began to erupt this week, according to the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Obervatory.  The Malema’uma’u crater began to emit sulfer dioxide and it’s lava pond appeared glowing red, and small amounts of lava is flowing. 

 MOMism:”Don’t blow your top.”  When the pressure mounts, we have to blow off steam.  Mother nature works this way, and so do our families.  That’s why it’s important for us to check in with the people in our families, to make sure everyone is able to vent.  Also, we need to make sure we have fun together.  Activity, talk, games…all are good ways for us to bond and keep the stress from building to the boiling point!

    Clearly, Mother Nature is pissed and if we don't start listening to her I'd hate to see what she'll do next!
