AND THE WINNER IS: Emmy Awards

Television’s Emmy awards yielded prizes for Mad Men in the Best Drama category and Modern Family for Best Comedy.   Best Actor in a Drama Series went to Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston and Lead Actress went to Kyra Sedgwick for The Closer.  Reality TV program Top Chef won the category and the Daily Show won for best variety show.  

MOMism: “ It’s showtime!”  Luck is where preparation and opportunity meet, so to say that it’s luck when someone “wins” is an untruth.   The people who work on these programs are hard working and talented and for one night, they get to revel in their accomplishments...and for many nights, we get to be entertained.  We laugh, we cry...we escape.
