President Obama presented the Congressional Medal of Honor to Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta,  He is the first living service member to receive the military’s highest honor in 40 years.  Giunta was serving in Afghanistan three years ago and rescued two of  his squad members from the battlefield.   Obama called Giunta, “a soldier as humble as he is heroic.”
