I am always looking for "signs" from my 16 year old of depression or fatigue or anything resembling it. He is pretty care free most of the time, but has ALWAYS been like a light switch with his moods. I think we all try and do our very best with our kids and luckily my son is fairly open with me on the taboo topics, but of course we cannot police them 24/7. We are smart enough to know when our child is acting different and the "mom radar" goes off sometimes, for nothing, but as long as we do everythingw e can to insure our children's well being, what else can we ask for?on 01/11/11Reply
- Policing is tough work! I think the mood swings are normal and puberty related...mostly. But I would think that when real, long term depression-esque stuff rears its head...the ..what to do? how did Loughner's parents miss this stuff? Scary!???on 01/12/11Reply
