Hi everybody... I am a O-MAMA from Brazil!! Because I was born and raised in another country is a little hard to adjust to a new culture. Some things or ideas we agree and others not so much, but if we want to raise our kids here in USA we will need to find a balance between both cultures. Yes, that's right. Love, embrace and respect the American way of life...and teach your kids to appreciate your Brazilian culture, too. Keep them connected to your family in Brazil. That will be the tough part, but you can do it. The easy part will be for them to become immersed in the American culture...the trick wll be to get them to value, respect and give back to America, not get caught up in the "things" that are here.
