POLITICS: Playground Politics
“Play fair.”
Our kids learn a lot on the playground - they develop important physical and social skills that teach them boundaries and common courtesy that translate off the black top, too. So, why do we still have politicians tweeting their privates, throwing sand and having temper tantrums on the campaign trail? All fun and games? Maybe it would be funny, if it weren't so sad and distracting for our country.
These are serious times and we need serious adults working to solve our national problems. America's MAMAs need to remind our politicians that we are already wiping noses and teaching self-control to own kids, so enough with the snotty behavior and poor judgment from our elected leaders!? We expect more. Our kids deserve better.
We might be temporarily entertained by all the playground politics, but it's time to end all the monkey business and time to get on with the business of the American people. Maybe Mitt and Newt will tune in today to The Balancing Act on Lifetime TV and get some tips on navigating the playground of politics.
Have fun with the KID-Os this week - turn off the cell phones, computers and DSIs and take them to the playground instead!!!
Change Begins at Home!
