PARENTING: Moral Compass
Ever hear "Oh, kids these days...they don't do this...they are into that..." Guess what? If we want kids who know right from wrong...that are kind and secure...with some nice manners...MAMAs need to make sure that happens. We are the ones who guide them and point them in the right direction. Consistently. Patiently. Responsibly. So, when they feel lost, they will always be able to find their way home.
We need to surround our kids with love and security that point them in the right direction. That way, they can avoid all the ridiculous things we see in the news - Weiner-gate, Logan, the Governator, Bernie Madoff, Casey Anthony, etc. These people have lost their way. As MAMAs, we need to provide our kids with a moral compass so they will choose the right path in life.
Our kids and our country need some direction - MAMAs need to be the true North they can count on, today and always.
