“It’s all fun and games, until someone gets hurt.”
Our kids learn a lot on the playground – they develop important physical and social skills that teach them boundaries and common courtesy that translate off the black top, too. So, why can’t the politicians on Capitol Hill stop playing politics and solve our nations problems? It would be funny, if it weren’t so sad and distracting for our country to lurch from manufactured crisis to manufactured crisis.
These are serious times and we need serious adults working to solve our national problems. America’s moms need to remind our politicians that we are already wiping noses and teaching self-control to own kids, so enough with the snotty behavior and poor judgement from our elected leaders!? We expect more. Our kids deserve better.
It’s time to re-open the government, pay our bills and get on with the business of the American people.
Change begins at home.™
