OH WHAT A RELIEF IT IS: Mitt Enters The Race

Shortly after the debate began, I had the following exchange via text with a friend:

Me: “Mitt is killing it! Specific, strong, pointed…very well prepared!”

My Friend: “Be quiet and watch.”

(Yeah, right! “Quiet” wasn’t gonna happen, I was fired up. So I shot back..)

Me: “Obama looks condescending? Tired? Angry? Not sure…but he didn’t come to play.”

Turns out, I was right.  Seems as though most analysts and post-game wrap ups agreed with me.  Even Michelle, my O-MAMA partner and Obama’s biggest fan, was disappointed in the President’s performance. Literally, Obama’s closing two minutes were sooo boring, all I could think was, he must just be killing time until he can get to his anniversary dinner with Michelle.  Two minutes wasted.  Does he know how much advertisers charge for two minutes of airtime during the Superbowl?  Obama sold exactly NOTHING in 90 minutes, except the idea that he is too bored with his current job to pop a 5 hour energy, or memorize a 2 minute speech. Fine!  Then, you’re fired pal.  Go retire to your new mansion and write another memoir.

Fact check your fannies off, everyone.  The only important fact is the die has been cast, and Mitt changed the game last night.  Plop, plop, fizz, fizz…Stick that in your “CNN/Gallup/AP/Rasmussen” poll and smoke it!  I don’t need my Alka Seltzer anymore.
