So, MAMAs, one of our very fav parts of the Superbowl are the commercials (and the snacks, of course)! We love all the background stories about the players…the sappier and more mom-related the better. We loved seeing a great game with two super teams. That being said, we are still obsessing about the ads. Michelle loved the 2 minute Chrysler commercial (and :30 second spots now running). We loved all the Americana themes. They touched us and made us feel proud. Michelle is still crying talking it about it. Deb loved the Teleflora commercial with Faith Hill because of it’s sentimental message – not – because it is so her humor. She is still laughing just talking about it. That being said, we both hated the Pepsi commercial. Not really because of the racial stereo-types, but just because it was dumb and mean-spirited, regardless of the color of the people. Yicky Pepsi. The lesson Opinionated MAMAs took from the game, and the automobile commercials, was about the importance of “team spirit.” Whether we are talking about the Green Bay Packers and their tiny town having the best football team in our country or the comeback of the motor city…it all gave us goose pimples. We can do anything we put our minds to America, if we roll up our sleeves and work hard for a common objective – we all win!
