A volunteer for the Kentucky Republican Senatorial candidate, Rand Paul, pushed down and stomped on the neck (some say “head,” some say “shoulders,” take a look at the video and decide for yourself) of a MoveOn.org volunteer at a debate rally. The woman, Lauren Vallee, said,”these supporters were not very nice to me and my message, which is the same as everyone else. I just wanted to get out here with a sign, but I got my head stepped on.” The Rand Paul volunteer, Tim Profitt, was later fired by the campaign, and told the Associated Press, “I apologize if it appeared overly forceful, but I was concerned about Rand’s safety.”
MOMism:” Don’t kick someone when they’re down.” Wow-sa. Not only were they bigger and stronger, there were 4 MEN trying to remove one 23 year old girl. That should have been enough. Granted, she was in a weird blonde wig and tried to shove a sign in Rand Paul’s window, but come on? Once she was removed and restrained there was no reason to kick her when she was already down. Seriously boys? Didn’t your mama teach you better? Shame on you Mr. Profitt! Not only did you lose your temper, but you kicked a WOMAN when she was laying in the gutter. Really?
