In Sunday talk, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin appeared on Fox News, and claimed, “Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has the ‘cojones’ that President Obama does not have to take on illegal immigration.” This comment follows the Wednesday injunction granted by U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton to block the most controversial provisions of Arizona’s recently passed immigration law.
MOMism: “Too many balls in the air.” If anyone knows how to multi-task, it’s an O-MAMA. Let’s face it, that is what we do; make lunches, while answering an email and putting on some make-up. And even though President Obama is not a MAMA, he certainly has a lot of balls in the air. He has so much on his plate between domestic and international issues that comprehensive Immigration reform has taken a back seat to the more pressing issues of war and economic recession. Time will tell if he decides to come out swinging and knock down his critics, or if this issue will knock him out because it is so big and complicated. Did Palin’s comments hit below the belt? Or, was it just the kick needed to get the administration ready to fight this battle?
